<p> DIED. GOTTFRIED REINHARDT, 81, movie producer, director and
writer; in Los Angeles. Son of legendary German theater and
film director Max Reinhardt, Gottfried Reinhardt arrived in
Los Angeles from Berlin in 1932 and established himself as a
screenwriter. In 1951, he produced the Civil War epic The Red
Badge of Courage, directed by John Huston. The '50s saw the
start of his directing career, capped by the 1960 joint German-American
film Town Without Pity.
